Saturday's Exploration: Cafe, Tea, and Books

Saturday is the best day for me to recharge and reset. Here are some places I have visited, and I think you should visit them as well!
First stop is the Tea Trader. This is a place that sell tea and tea sets, they have a large variety of teas and I did get two types of Pu Erh tea home. I chose Pu Erh tea not only I like the way it tastes, but also this is the type of tea that my family loves. I need to get some to share with my dad.

This place has parking lots beside the building and some street parking across the street, which is quite convenient for people who drive. The shopkeeper is very knowledgeable and helpful; she even allows me to do a smell test before purchasing.
After Tea Trader, I walked down the street, and there is the Calgary Heritage Roasting Company. I ordered their seasonal iced latte and a scone, which are both very tasty. I ordered the scone because I always want to try and do not have a chance.

The next stop after Calgary Heritage Roasting Company is Sigla Books, but the owner was away until 2:40; therefore, I went to the Loophole Coffee Bar next to it. This is a place that gives me a vibe of the 1950s, which I like. I ordered another iced latte, but I did not finish it because it is too much coffee for me. I read a couple of pages there, and finally, the owner of the bookstore is back.

I walked into the bookstore and browsed through the bookshelves. This bookstore has books that are very rare and very difficult to find. If you’re tired of BookTok recommendations, here is the place you should go.
I picked up Loves That Bind by Julian Rio, and when I walked over to the poli-sci session, I put down that book and picked up History of Political Philosophy. When I turned around and browsed through the philosophy section, I put that down and picked up The Essential Schopenhauer. I would like to get all of them, but it is over my budget.

I had a conversation with David, the owner of Sigal. He told me that Schopenhauer was a great writer, and recently he sold out multiple copies of his books. Based on the short conversation with him, I can tell he is very knowledgeable, and I would definitely revisit this place.
Last stop is Mama Street Food, and they have a variety of food and dessert, but I have waited for 30 minutes for my order, which is quite disappointing. I ordered Unagi Sushi Taco, Karaage Tamago Sando, Tofu Pudding, Honey Crispy Sausage, and Taiwanese Mi-Sua Vermicelli Soup (Intestine). The food is good, but I probably would not revisit it because I am not going to wait for a long time just for some street food.

After picking up the order, we drove back home and watched a movie. This is how I spent my Saturday.
